Abel Moreno

Abel Moreno is a Mechanical Design Engineer at Cen-Tex Engineering, where he manages the mechanical and plumbing aspects of assigned jobs.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UMHB, he brings a solid foundation of engineering knowledge to his role.

As part of his responsibilities, Abel effectively coordinates project delegation with assigned CAD technicians and maintains clear communication with architects and owners on each assigned job. His attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results make him a valuable asset to the team. Abel’s professional development extends beyond his job responsibilities. Holding an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification and being an ASHRAE member, he stays abreast of industry best practices and actively seeks opportunities for growth.

Outside of work, Abel leads an active lifestyle with a particular interest in sports. He actively participates in various sports including golf, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, and baseball during his free time. Furthermore, he contributes to the community by coaching youth volleyball and basketball teams, showcasing his dedication to both personal and professional growth.
