Cooper Gill

Cooper Gill is the President of Cen-Tex Engineering, where he serves as the Principal responsible for all operations of the firm.

With a strong background in engineering and an extensive skill set, Cooper excels in various areas such as business development, client relations, finance, and serving as the Engineer of Record for all Cen-Tex Engineering projects.

Cooper holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas and a Master of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in 12 states, showcasing his expertise and ability to work across different regions.

As a native Central Texan, Cooper takes great pride in being part of building the future of Central Texas. Outside of his professional commitments, he cherishes his role as a husband to his wife of 14 years and a father to four boys. When not in the office or on a site visit, Cooper dedicates his time to coaching or watching his kids play baseball, football, and basketball.

With over 15 years of design experience, Cooper has a diverse background that spans various industries, including petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, fiber optics, bioinformatics, and electrical engineering. His innovative approach and problem-solving skills have resulted in two patents for fiber optic systems and control systems.
